At Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya Lodhi Estate there are Four Houses in which all the teachers and students of the school are divided.

The name of the Houses is as follows:

1. M. Fathima Beevi House:

M. Fathima Beevi is a former Judge of the Supreme Court of India. Appointed to the apex Court in 1989, she became the first Female Judge to be a part of the Supreme Court of the India and first Muslim woman to be appointed to any of the higher Judiciaries in the country.

2. Anandibai Gopalrao Joshi

She was the First woman from the erstwhile Bombay Presidency of India to study and Graduate with a two year degree in western Medicine in the United States. She has a rich legacy and inspired many women to pursue the field of Medicine in India.

3. Ada Lovelace

She was an English Mathematician and writer, chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage’s proposed mechanical General-Purpose Computer, the analytical Engine. She was the first to recognize that the machine had applications beyond pure calculation and to have published the first Algorithm intended to be carried out by such a machine. As a result she is often regarded as the First Computer Programmer.

4. Madam Marie Curie

She was a polish and naturalized- French Physicist and Chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel prize, the first person and the only woman to win the Nobel Prize twice.
